As we wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support. This year has been an incredible journey for our small coffee company, and it’s all thanks to you. Your love for great coffee and your unwavering encouragement have allowed us to achieve some amazing milestones. We’re thrilled to share that we opened two new locations this year—one in the vibrant Carlsberg Byen and another in the lively neighborhood of Nørrebro. These new spaces have quickly become hubs for coffee lovers, where we’ve had the joy of welcoming both familiar faces and new friends.

As something new, Impact Nørrebro is open until midnight every Friday and Saturday! You can unwind with a selection of African beers and wines or indulge in one of our famous espresso martinis. To set the perfect weekend mood, we’re joined by vinyl DJs every Friday, creating an atmosphere that blends great coffee culture with music and connection.

Clean water in Ethiopia: A necessity, not a luxury
In Ethiopia, millions of people still do not have access to clean drinking water. Water shortages and pollution create a daily struggle for many families, who often have to spend several hours a day fetching water from unsafe sources. For children, this means that they miss school, and for adults, that they cannot work and support their families. Unfortunately, the water they get hold of can often be the source of serious diseases, creating a vicious circle of health and economic challenges.Why is water so important?
Access to clean water can change the entire life of a local community. With a new water station, families not only get a reliable source of water, but also the opportunity to improve their health, education and living conditions. Impact Roasters is refining its organic practices by no longer pursuing official organic certification for its Ethiopian coffee. The decision stems from the increasing bureaucracy around certification, which detracted from focusing on sustainability and responsible sourcing. Despite the lack of formal certification, their coffee remains organic in practice, as farmers still use traditional methods without harmful chemicals. Impact Roasters continues to work directly with Ethiopian farmers, ensuring high quality, ethical coffee without compromise.
