GET STARTED
Remember, experimentation is key to finding the perfect brew for your taste preferences, so don't be afraid to adjust variables like grind size, water temperature, and steeping time.
MEASURE COFFEE
Measure out your desired amount of coffee grounds.
REACH IDEAL TEMPERATURE
Heat water to the appropriate temperature, usually around 195-205°F (90-96°C).
PRE WET FILTER PAPER
Place the filter in your brewing device and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper flavor and preheat the vessel.
ADD THE GROUND COFFEE
Add the ground coffee to the filter.
START BLOOM PHASE
Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to saturate them and allow them to bloom for 30 seconds.
COMPLETE THE POUR
Slowly pour the remaining hot water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion, ensuring even saturation.
BREWING IN PROGRESS
Allow the coffee to drip through the filter into your serving vessel.
SERVE AND ENJOY
Once the brewing process is complete, remove the filter and discard it. Pour the brewed coffee into your cup and enjoy!
