MATHIRA
Mathira is a Kenyan coffee with a twist. From Ruiruiru Factory in Nyeri, ripe cherries undergo a six-day anaerobic fermentation before being slowly sun-dried for 30 days on raised African beds. The result is a bright, juicy cup bursting with blackcurrant and red berry notes, lively citrus and a silky-sweet finish. A great coffee to explore if you want to experience how fermentation can transform Kenyan coffee.
KENYA
A classic expression of Kenyan coffee. Grown in the high-altitude Mount Kenya region, these Arabica beans benefit from rich volcanic soils, cool temperatures and abundant rainfall. Washed to highlight their natural character, the coffee offers a fruity aroma, fresh citrus acidity, berry-like flavours and subtle milk chocolate. A balanced and full-bodied Kenyan coffee, freshly roasted in Copenhagen.
KIMATHI
Kimathi brings Kenya and Ethiopia together in one cup. This carefully crafted blend combines washed Kenyan coffee from the high-altitude slopes of Mount Kenya with sun-dried Ethiopian coffee from Jimma. The result is a balanced and expressive coffee that combines the brightness and fruitiness of Kenya with the sweetness and depth of Ethiopian natural coffee.
